Margot Finn, Washington, D.C., Pro Bono Research Assistant
As Pro Bono Research Assistant, Margot assists attorneys in Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia on cases the firm accepts from the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Clinic, especially Social Security Disability appeals. In her first case, a successful conclusion was reached for a client who had his ankle fused and was unable to work for a period of time. She manages erooms for the Kosovo rule of law project and the Global FoodBanking Network. In addition, she is co-coordinator for the D.C. office’s tutoring and mentoring program at Bruce Monroe Elementary School. Margot helps coordinate several of the Washington, D.C. office’s civic and charitable activities, including the Food Bank Challenge, the Race for the Cure, the Light the Night Walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Gifts for the Homeless.
