Sheila applies her skills as a litigator to her pro bono practice as well. She has represented a variety of clients in family law matters, including a case that spanned two states, and represented a immigrant domestic violence survivor in a dispute with her condominium association.

Sheila serves on the board of INC.spire, a nonprofit incubator that mentors individuals from groups historically underrepresented in the ranks of business owners, such as women, minorities, and low income persons, who are trying to form a fast-growth business in Northern Virginia. INC.spire is a 100 percent volunteer community comprised of a variety of professionals in the Reston area who are willing to donate their time and skills to helping these entrepreneurs achieve their goals.
